Club House Project

On July 25th, 2003 the club learned that it had been successful in its application for a grant under the 2003 Sports Capital Programme. The Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism announced that the club will receive €35,000 towards the construction of its clubhouse in Abbeytown. The Mayo FA have deemed the construction of a clubhouse essential to any club wishing to participate in the 2004 league campaign.

The funding was obviously insufficient to complete the building and the club were awarded a further €18,000 to assist them in finishing the project.

The outer shell was completed in late 2006 and the interior work is nearly finished too.
